The Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (CWRDM), in collaboration with the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), will observe World Wetlands Day 2025 on January 30 and 31 at its headquarters in Kozhikode and the Kottuli Wetland. Recognized as a wetland of national importance by the Government of India under the National Wetland Conservation Programme (MoEF&CC) and proposed as a Ramsar site from Kerala, Kottuli Wetland is a significant focus for conservation efforts. A range of awareness activities and competitions for students and the general public are planned as part of the event.
